If I had gone to a fully inquiry-based high school, I would have dropped out in less than a month. That’s not saying inquiry-based schools don’t work or that I don’t believe in their pedagogy; I just know my style of learning back then (WAY back then) and I needed more guidance and instruction. However, I can certainly see the advantages of it now that I am on route to become a teacher. I think it has to be the right student, or maybe, the right time in their education.
